The first Chinese Folk Music Band
On September 23, 2024, the "Super Dream" Chinese Folk Music Band successfully held its first offline event at the New Chinese Tea in Warsaw. All members of the ensemble are from China and are skilled in playing a variety of traditional Chinese musical instruments, including the yangqin, erhu, flute, guzheng, and pipa. Through these distinctive instruments, they beautifully interpret traditional Chinese music, aiming to showcase the profound essence of Chinese culture to Polish audiences. Our tea house manager, as the band’s guzheng player, was deeply involved in the formation of the group and delivered a captivating guzheng performance during the event.
Following its formation, the band was invited to perform at the 75th Anniversary National Day Reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Poland, where they presented the unique charm of Chinese folk music to a distinguished audience of Chinese and international guests. Their performance was highly praised by both the ambassador and the attendees.
